The DICTUM water-cooled grinder is the perfect sharpening system - simple and safe handling, precise cutting-edge geometry, consistent angles. Whether chisels, plane blades or woodturning gouges, knives or scissors, this water-cooled grinder as a basic unit can be equipped with a wide variety of grinding jigs, auxiliary devices and accessories.
The 3 mm sheet steel housing weighs 19 kg and ensures low-vibration working and secure footing.
Support arm holder with one-handed operation for easy and precise adjustment. A special guide prevents the support arm from tilting in the horizontal position.
Support arm with fine adjustment made without material distortion due to welding or bending.
Compatible with all grinding jigs and fixtures with 12 mm slot.

Sharpening principle:
The permanent water supply cools the cutting edges and removes stone and metal abrasion, achieving excellent sharpening results.
Water cooling and low speed prevent the blades from annealing and eliminate sparks (enhanced workplace safety), in addition, no sanding dust is released into the air.
After sharpening the blades on the grinding wheel, you can switch to a leather honing wheel. In combination with the Polishing and Honing Paste, this removes burrs quickly and reliably and leaves a perfectly polished edge.
