Self-centring four-jaw universal chuck for spindle and faceplate work To make the chuck even more versatile, a 24-step indexing disc is already integrated on the back. Additional indexing devices are unnecessary. The chuck key with a T-handle allows for the chuck to be easily clamped and spread with one hand, leaving the other hand free for the workpiece. The base jaws are secured against excessive unscrewing. Clamping the jaws in a clockwise direction provides additional safety. The direct thread M33 x 3.5 DIN 800 is integrated into the chuck body, making the chuck lighter and shorter while providing higher concentric accuracy. In addition, vibrations are minimised and the load on the spindle bearings is reduced. The chuck and the matching DICTUM jaws are nickel-plated, offering excellent protection against moisture and corrosion. Stainless steel screws also prevent the screws from seizing due to rust.
