The faceplate ring is screwed directly onto the workpiece. The internal rebate in the ring allows the workpiece to be securely clamped by the chuck's dovetail jaws. Ideal for attaching custom-made sanding discs or other auxiliary devices. The nickel coating provides excellent protection against moisture and corrosion.
