Description
2-component epoxy putty for filling and replacing wood
WoodEpox fills, repairs and replaces missing wood, both indoors and outdoors. The non-shrink, beige-coloured epoxy putty permanently bonds to most solid surfaces such as wood, ceramics, stucco, and concrete. Whether mechanically damaged or damaged by environmental influences, WoodEpox eliminates the need for time-consuming replacement of defective wood parts. Applications range from wooden windows, sills, doors, shutters, columns, posts, balustrades, floors, furniture and sculptures. It is also the ideal helper if you have removed too much material when sculpting, power carving or turning.
Tip: Moistening the surface slightly makes it easier to model and smooth the applied filler.

WoodEpox is chemical, heat, insect and weather-resistant. It is lightweight, dimensionally stable and can be used in any thickness or shape. The absence of water and solvents eliminates shrinkage and enhances adhesion. It is low odour and produces virtually zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds), making it safe and hazard-free in any environment. It can be painted, stained, drilled, carved, sawed, planed, sanded, and milled, just like wood. WoodEpox can be thinned with LiquidWood (No. 745079, 745080) as needed. Note: We recommend pre-treating highly porous substrates, e.g. obstructed wood, with LiquidWood.
Technical characteristics: 1:1 mixing ratio. Pot life: approximately 20 minutes. Hardens within one or two hours depending on temperature and other environmental factors. 100 % epoxy solids. Water-resistant. Application temperature range: 10 to 35 °C. 100 % compatible with LiquidWood.
