Description
2-component epoxy resin for consolidating loose and porous substrates
LiquidWood is a liquid resin which penetrates loose wood fibres, holes,cracks and joints, and consolidates rotten and weathered wood for example. For interior and exterior use, especially for structural timbers, windows, columns, beams, decks, boats, furniture, sculptures and all architectural wood elements. Apply by brushing, pouring, or injecting directly onto dry, bare wood.
Features & benefits:
LiquidWood epoxy resin has a low viscosity allowing it to penetrate deep into the wood and saturate porous or deteriorated wood fibres prior to hardening. The absence of water and solvents eliminates shrinkage and enhances adhesion. It is low odour and produces virtually zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds), making it safe and hazard-free in any environment. The treated wood is resistant to weather and insects. Treated wood will harden within hours, and like new wood, can easily be sawed, planed, drilled, nailed, painted, routed, and sanded. Can also be used as primer or thinner for WoodEpox (No. 745081, 745082, 745083).
Technical characteristics: 1:1 mixing ratio. Pot life: approximately 30 minutes. Hardens within hours depending on temperature and other environmental factors. 100 % epoxy solids. Water-resistant. Effective coverage varies dependent on the porosity of the wood. Application temperature range: 10 to 35 °C. 100 % compatible with WoodEpox.
