Description

With this pilot drill, you do not have to change bits from drill to countersink when drilling screw holes. You can set the depth of the hole without countersink to between 10 and 45 mm with a grub screw. The hexagonal shank prevents the drill from slipping through and allows it to be used in bit holders. Countersink diameter 10 mm, for drill hole diameter 2.8 mm.
Fisch® Pilot Bits with Depth Stop
Boring pilot holes and exact countersinking in one go! With the adjustable depth stop on the countersink bit, you can set the exact drilling and countersink depth. The ball-jointed depth stop will stop when the drilling depth is reached and when it touches the workpiece so that it won’t leave any friction marks. With deeper countersunk holes, you can also provide space for the screw heads to be covered with wooden discs. The grub screw is flush with the depth stop to prevent risk of injury. The grub screw allows you to set the drilling depth up to 45 mm without a countersunk hole. The hexagonal shaft prevents the drill from slipping in the chuck and allows it to be used in bit holders.
