Veritas® Gent's Saw, Crosscut

Description

Fine crosscut teeth that cut on the push stroke for extra-fine cuts across the grain. The ultra-smooth and clean cuts make this saw ideal for cutting tenons, overleap joints and trimming small workpieces. Rake angle 15°.

These saws, which are made in Canada, have an extra-thin saw blade with a high carbon content. The solid back, moulded from a high-tech material incorporating stainless steel powder, fibre glass and a polymer resin binder, ensures good balance and controlled cutting. To provide more stability, the spine extends over the tang. Varnished precious wood handle.
