This set includes everything you need to realise your first projects on the lathe.
- The set of Hattori HSS Turning Tools (No. 701850) is the ideal basic equipment for beginners. Cost-effective, robust turning tools made of heat-resistant HSS (63 HRC). Ergonomically formed hardwood handles, finely polished surfaces, no sharp edges, and generously-proportioned brass ferrules. Supplied in a wooden case.
- Teknatool SuperNOVA2™ PRO-TEK Chuck, Starter Set (No. 720707), many woodturning projects such as bowls or pen blanks can be clamped on the lathe with this combination of chucks. M33 x 3.5 DIN 800
- ECO Quick-Release Chuck with Morse Taper DIN 238, #2 MT (No. 705658) for use on lathes, routers and drill presses. No chuck key, tighten and release effortlessly by hand. Jaw opening 0.5–16 mm; jaws can be opened completely and closed without a gap. Concentricity 0.08 mm.
- Micro-Mesh MM Assortment, 20-Piece Set (No. 705116) with two sheets of each grit 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12 000, polishing file, grinding block. Micro-Mesh MM was originally developed for polishing hard plastics. The fine grits are also ideal for working wood, Plexiglas and fibreglass, right through to polishing varnished surfaces.
- Klingspor PS 22 F ACT abrasive paper is ideal for woodworking. The dense coating ensures maximum stock removal and a uniform grinding pattern. 20 strips each (115 x 280 mm) in grit 80, 120 and 240 (Nos. 706366, 706368, 706370).
- The comprehensive starter set is rounded off with the DICTUM® Walnut Oil Surface Set (No. 721220), consisting of Walnut Oil (250 ml) and DICTUM Walnut Wax (50 g). They give your woodturning items a natural, food-safe and silk-matt surface.
