Description
For trimming large wood sections and cutting tenon shoulders. The medium-fine rip teeth cut on the push stroke and ensure precise, clean cuts across the grain.
The largest Veritas saw to date
This saw, which is made in Canada, has an extra-thin saw blade with a high carbon content. The solid back, moulded from a high-tech material incorporating stainless steel powder, fibre glass and a polymer resin binder, ensures good balance and controlled cutting. To provide more stability, the spine extends over the tang. In addition, the closed-grip D-shaped handle allows excellent control, despite the large size of the saw. The varnished precious wood handle is secured with a stainless steel bolt and brass screw.
