Description
The TORMEK T-4 Original, an advanced version of the T-3 model, takes precision and stability to a new level. Both the vertical and horizontal arms for the universal support and the integrated carrying handle are made from one piece of cast zinc. The motor and main shaft are fixed to the cast top, resulting in a solid construction which significantly improves accuracy during sharpening.
Compact and versatile, the Tormek T-4 Original is also a water-cooled sharpening system that, due to its precision and stability, is suitable for sharpening chisels, knives, scissors, and smaller tools such as carving tools.
Both the vertical and horizontal holders for the universal support and the integrated carrying handle are made of a single piece of die-cast zinc.
The motor and main shaft are mounted on the cast top, forming a solid unit. This solid construction significantly improves accuracy during the sharpening process.

Tormek® Sharpening System
Proven for many years and constantly perfected wet-working sharpening machines are the basis of the ingenious Tormek sharpening system. A range of jigs, which can be mounted on the universal support, makes the sharpening of any cutting tool easier. Tormek achieves exact cutting geometry and consistent results on chisels, turning tools, knives, shears or machine tools. Also suitable for workshops and instructional settings because of its safe operation - no sparks are produced and it has an overload safety clutch.
The offered grinding wheels assure short sharpening times under all conditions in combination with the greatest possible tool protection. The front side can also be used for plane honing. The leather honing wheel removes burrs quickly and leaves a perfectly polished cutting edge. Robust construction with solid housing and lowerable water container.
