The handy precision square is excellent for checking the squareness of accurately planed workpieces, for setting the tool height on the machine table and for dimensionally precise marking with a pencil or scriber. The DICTUM marking gauge completes the set with an extremely accurate transfer of measurements to the workpiece, equipped with a micrometric fine adjustment and a sharply ground cutting edge for reliable markings, e.g. for marking out mortise and tenon joints. The dovetailed wooden case is made of high-quality native German beech and protects the sensitive measuring and marking tools from dust and contact with other tools.
