Course details
Under the guidance of our experienced bowyer, each participant will make a longbow or flatbow using traditional methods.
The course covers both preparing and working the staves, as well as making the bowstring and building arrows. Carefully selected staves made from solid ash, robinia or other woods on request are available as materials.
In small groups, each participant receives close individual support, with questions and problem cases discussed in detail. The course concludes with testing the finished bow.

Course locations
A mere 10 minutes drive from our company headquarters in Plattling, it is situated idyllically between the river Danube and the Natural Reserve Bavarian Forest and offers ideal conditions for undisturbed creative work.
The former stable of the Monastery Niederalteich is optimally equipped with
