Sorby Revolving Stebcentre, #2 MT, Ø 13 mm

Description

Largely inspired by Norwegian turner Petter Herud, the Revolving Stebcentre has been introduced. Not only does it offer the same degree of security as the conventional Stebcentre, but it allows the turner to do basic off-centre turning.
Robert Sorby Mitnehmer/Mitlaufkörner
The sprung stainless steel tip and sharp teeth that bite into the wood will guarantee optimal hold. This works even on lathes where the axles (spindle stock to tailstock) are not 100 % aligned. Safe working is guaranteed. The geometry of the teeth also makes this exceptionally good for tensioning unusual shapes. To do this, the piece is tensioned between the Sorby revolving stebcentre and a Sorby drive.
