Description

Kurosan, literally meaning »man in black«, is a tribute to Yasuke, the legendary historical figure of the 16th century, and symbolises strength and individuality. The blades are distinguished by their characteristic black finish, left raw-forged in the upper section, along with a Tsuchime hammer pattern that helps reduce food sticking. The blades feature a triple-layered construction, with a cutting core made from Japanese AUS-10 steel* hardened to 60 HRC, flanked by two rustproof outer layers that add stability and corrosion resistance. The traditional octagonal walnut wood handle sits securely and comfortably in the hand and completes the knife’s balanced, harmonious appearance.
