Description
Bimetal bandsaw blade made of M42 HSS
Fits No. 720515.
The flexible blade backing is made of high-alloy spring band steel and thus minimises the risk of strip breaks. The robust tooth tips made of M42-HSS with cobalt content of 8 % offer an excellent edge life (up to 10 times longer than standard carbon steel band saw blades). The combination of the two steel properties allows an extremely long service life, resistance to material fatigue, heating, abrasion and vibration. This guarantees fast and precise cutting in a variety of materials. The variable tooth spacing reduces noise level and vibration. The blades feature a high strength and robustness, e.g. when accidentally sawing nails or when sawing glued panels (glue joints).
