Description
Shaping stone with good sharpening qualities. Silicon carbide abrasive.
Standard by Naniwa®
This stone series is suitable for sharpening blunt knives and tool blades. The stone has a relatively hard bond, it therefore stays flat for a longer time. It is particularly suitable for high-alloy tool steels, but also for low-alloy carbon steels. The coarse-grained alloy constituents (e.g. chromium and vanadium) in tool steels require a stone that wears slowly. Before use, soak the stone for at least 10 minutes. Do not keep it in water permanently.
Naniwa has changed the name and the packaging of this sharpening stone series (formerly Traditional Stone Series). The sharpening stone itself has not been changed.
