Description
Stabilised masur birch wood features attractive colour contrasts between the light-coloured heartwood and the brown streaks and medullary rays running through the wood.
Stabilised woods for knife handles and woodturning
Stabilised woods are completely impregnated with synthetic resin in a vacuum pressure process. The result is a stable and low-odour hybrid material. Stabilised wood is water-repellent, non-warping and can be worked just as normal wood. It is therefore the best choice for all situations where wood is exposed to tough conditions and warping is to be avoided. Weight and density correspond to tropical hardwoods.
