Description
Linseed oil soap is made from natural, untreated linseed oil and is highly effective as a brush cleaner when applying oils and oil-based paints. Simply soak brushes in undiluted linseed oil soap and rinse them with water afterwards. Linseed oil soap can also be used to clean untreated wooden floors by lightly moistening the surface and working in the concentrated soap; however, no subsequent oil treatment is possible after this process. When diluted with water (1 litre of water to 10–20 ml of soap), it is also suitable for cleaning stone floors.
