Description
With the »Laurin« knife kit, you can create your own Scandinavian hunting and outdoor knife featuring exceptional handle material. Blade with rustic forged skin made of 80CrV2 carbon steel, not rustproof. Hardened to 58 HRC. The blades still require polishing and sharpening. The knife handle consists of a bolster made of brass and plum wood instead of the masur birch typically used in Scandinavian knives. Plum wood is striking due to its sporadic very intense red to violet-brown shading. The wood is very easy to work. Epoxy adhesive, e.g. No. 450379, is recommended for glueing the handle materials.
