Description
The kit includes an exceptionally patterned full-tang blade made from 192-layer Damascus steel. The pre-etched blade blank is hardened to approx. 60 HRC and only needs to be sharpened. The handle scales are made of fine briar wood from the French tree heath (Bruyère wood). A nickel silver rod provides additional stability and permanently secures the handle scales to the tang. The included stainless steel tube reinforces the lanyard hole. Also included is a finished leather sheath made of brown cowhide.
An epoxy adhesive (e.g. No. 450379) is recommended for the permanent bonding of handle materials.
