Description
23 mm distance from the collar is appropriate to 12-13 mm outer clearance of the peg against the pegbox, and justifies the proper position of the string hole.
The unique template will guide drilling of the hole perfectly perpendicular and centered on the shaft of any peg.
Herdim® Tools for Peg Adjustment
Professional versions of tools, which were individually made in many violin making workshops. Use of the drivers will not only spare a lot of time but also will create very precise and delicate surface of the peg taper. The drilling templates ensure precise positioning of the perpendicular string hole in the center of the peg shaft without any marking.
