Furniture Making with Minimal Tools – Basic Course

Course details

Mit einer Grundausstattung von nur 15 Werkzeugen bauen Sie Ihr erstes Möbel.
Die minimale Werkzeugausstattung umfasst neben Anreißwerkzeugen, Sägen, Hobel und Stemmeisen, auch eine vollständige Schärfausrüstung, um Hobel- und Stemmeisen zu schärfen. Sie lernen im Kurs den korrekten Umgang mit den Werkzeugen: vom Anreißen über das Sägen, Hobeln bis zum Stemmen. Und ganz nebenbei erfahren Sie, wie Sie ihre Werkzeuge richtig schärfen und pflegen. Sie können die Werkzeuge vor dem Kurs erwerben oder mit bereitgestellten Werkzeugen arbeiten.
Das gelernte wird direkt in einem Projekt umgesetzt. Sie bauen im Kurs Ihr erstes Möbel, eine schlichte Bank aus Eichen-Leimholz (ca. 1,2 m lang). Sie ist schick für die Wohnung, oder kann draußen stehen, auf der Terrasse, dem Balkon oder als Schmuckstück vor dem Haus.

While studying ethnology, the qualified cabinetmaker already worked as a set builder at the Munich TV studios. He was working as a freelance art carpenter in the Munich Gewerkehalle. For several years, he has worked as a consultant for DICTUM in courses dealing with Japanese wood joints.
