Description
The untreated beech handle absorbs moisture, thus preventing blisters.
This Kataba saw has a thicker blade for an extremely rugged design allowing deep cuts entirely flush to the surface. It is the tool of choice for deep cuts across the grain (crosscuts) in exotic hardwood, but also glulam and chipboard materials. The hard-wearing teeth are barely troubled by mineral inclusions in the wood (tropical woods), glued joints and synthetic resins.
Robusuta® Folding Saws
When extended, these folding saws satisfy all functions and the stability of a traditional Japanese saw; their handles have a particular shape that lets them rest comfortably in the hand. They are folded away using the robust yet easy-to-use toggle lever. This protects the teeth from damage and ensures that the saw can be tucked away neatly even in compact storage spaces. The blade is replaced quickly and easily by loosening and tightening the positioning bolts.
