Description
In Japanese kitchens, the unique properties of hinoki wood have been appreciated for centuries. The wood of the Japanese cypress is exceptionally lightweight, making it ideally suited for culinary applications. Furthermore, the finely grained wood is highly durable, resilient, and not too hard, which preserves the sharp edges of your knives. The high natural resin content even possesses antibacterial and fungicidal properties. The surface is natural and requires no treatment before the first use. With its minimalist design and the wood's fine texture, these boards also excel as serving platters. Available in two sizes.
Care instructions:
- Do not put the cutting board in the dishwasher
- Clean the board with hot water, washing-up liquid and a brush, on both sides along the grain
- Dry the board with a soft cloth
- Place the board upright to dry
