A hand-forged axe made of C60 carbon steel with a dark, dirt-repellent handle made of resilient robinia.
Hand hatchet for preparing kindling and for small jobs in the garden. The compact shape means it fits easily into any backpack for outdoor work.
Robinia wood is hard, elastic and fungus-resistant. The dark-coloured iron oxide treatment and the waxed surface give the handle a secure grip, make it pleasant to hold and resistant to dirt and moisture.
