Hand-forged from C60 carbon steel, this axe features a dark, dirt-resistant robinia wood handle with a distinctive overstrike guard and a durable buffalo leather sheath.
The traditional German head shape, a proven design since 1935, has a long cutting edge with a subtle curve for precise limbing of small trunks. The double-curved handle reduces fatigue and allows safe one-handed use thanks to the knob at the end of the grip.
Robinia wood is hard, elastic and fungus-resistant. The dark-coloured iron oxide treatment and the waxed surface give the handle a secure grip and make it resistant to dirt and moisture.
Axe collar and leather sheath are handcrafted from the finest nubuck buffalo leather. The highly visible nubuck buffalo leather is dirt- and water-repellent due to a special treatment. However, should your axe collar ever become worn or unsightly, it can be replaced at any time thanks to the practical lacing.
