Description
This 5-piece carving set gently introduces children to the traditional and creative craft of wood carving. The included book »Schnell geschnitzt - Lustige Figuren in 20 Minuten« (in German, No. 714422) covers essential techniques, from carving to painting or varnishing, along with safety tips and advice on the best types of wood to use. With the included limewood carving blanks (No. 700165, 700166), you’ll have the perfect beginner project ready to go.
The DICTUM Children's Carving Knife (with leather sheath, No. 701756), made of high-carbon steel (not rustproof), is the ideal tool for young hands, offering both safety and precision. Designed with a hand guard and a rounded blade tip, this knife ensures safe handling and minimises the risk of injury. However, it is essential that children are closely supervised and properly instructed in the safe use of the knife.
