Description
Carnauba wax is used on the running lathe to create highly glossy surfaces. The pure wax comes in the form of easy-to-process bars and has no foreign substances added. The natural wax from the Brazilian carnauba palm is known for its high hardness and good physiological compatibility.
Processing:
The workpiece must be sanded to at least grit 240 or finer. The use of a sanding sealer or an abrasive paste is advantageous. The carnauba wax is then applied evenly to the rotating workpiece with light pressure and polished to a high gloss with a cotton cloth.
The surface treated is immediately dry and exhibits a high gloss after polishing.
