Description
A small bandsaw for small workpieces, incl. practical sanding belt guide
The complete machine, incl. doors, is made of sheet steel. An additional steel frame reinforces the construction, which allows the small machine to have a higher blade tension, reduces vibrations and achieves better cutting results.
Guide pins made of brass ensure the lateral blade guide, back rollers support the blade back.
The solid cast iron table can be tilted up to 45° and contains a T-slot for guiding the mitre gauge (-60° to +60°).
Cut height, roller inclination and belt tension can be adjusted quickly and easily.
The cast aluminium rollers are covered with rubber bindings and ensure smooth running.
The doors contain safety switches to prevent the machine from starting when the door is open. The on/off switch with undervoltage release prevents unintentional operation.

Sawing and sanding with just one machine not only saves investment costs, but also space in the workshop. The DICTUM Bandsaw can also be operated with sanding belts using the sanding belt guide. Switching from the saw blade guide to the sanding belt guide is quick and easy. The sanding pad can be adjusted in height, e.g. to sand out incisions just 1 mm wide below the sanding pad. Sanding on the sanding pad is suitable for small objects or curved cuts. By attaching e.g. semicircular wood pieces to the sanding pad (two screw holes available), the sanding belt moulds itself perfectly to inner curves. Suitable sanding belts in various grits are available as accessories. Incl. assembly instructions.
