Description
High-quality boiled linseed oil made from cold-pressed, clarified linseed oil that has been pre-oxidised at temperatures above 100 °C, allowing it to dry faster than raw linseed oil. The boiled oil is exceptionally pure, contains no additives other than driers, and is free from solvents, aromatics and preservatives. Its low viscosity means no heating or thinning is required before use. As it penetrates less deeply than raw linseed oil, it is ideally suited for refreshing aged oil paint finishes and for thinning linseed oil paints. Also perfectly suitable for use in living spaces.
Apply boiled linseed oil in a thin coat. After approx. one hour, spread out any glossy areas or wipe them off with a cloth. Allow to dry completely before applying the next coat.
Drying time: With good ventilation, at approx. 24 °C and when applied thinly, about 2 days.

For our boiled linseed oil, we use only well-aged, degummed, cold-pressed linseed oil that has been gently heat-treated, ensuring excellent penetration while achieving fast drying times.
