Description
Special bandsaw blade for curved cuts, e.g. when cutting bowl blanks. Many woodturners who saw their bowl blanks from thick planks face a familiar problem: the back of the saw band jams on tighter radii. The additional toothing on the back of this belt (unsharpened and unset) reduces friction and the belt cuts itself free. This effect enables tighter radii to be cut than with conventional bandsaw blades. Suitable for belt guides with steel back rollers or ball bearings.
