Axminster® Evolution SK114 Chuck, Set

Description

Max. jaw opening 22 mm (plus safety reserve). Chuck diameter 114 mm, direct thread M33 x 3.5 DIN 800.
Includes type C dovetail jaws, type C faceplate ring, and screw insert.

This chuck features a super-slim stainless steel body incorporating a new design of longer accessory mounting jaws. These jaws fit deeper in the chuck and offer a greater contact area within the canal of the chuck, thus minimising vibration during use. The compact design keeps the workpiece as close as possible to the headstock of your lathe to reduce the load on the bearings and prevent unwanted vibration. For safety, the maximum jaw movement is limited so that when the chuck is fully opened, the threads of the scroll engage sufficiently in the jaws. Fully compatible with all Axminster attachments.
Includes chuck key for one-handed operation.
Benefits and features:
  • Completely manufactured in Axminster, UK
  • Square key for secure positioning and extra torque
  • Stainless steel chuck body for maximum corrosion resistance
  • Direct thread for high concentricity
  • Compatible with all Axminster accessory jaws
  • Equipped with SafetyJaws
  • Lifetime warranty
