Men's Trousers, Irish Linen

In western Ireland, the family business Emblem Weavers weaves the pure linen for these classically cut men's trousers. It has wing front pockets and a small watch pocket below the waistband, as well as two buttoned welt back pockets. The natural irregularities in the linen yarn and the grainy, air-permeable Panama weave lend the unlined trousers an attractive casualness. The seams are reinforced by means of a liner tape.The tradition of manufacturing linen in Ireland, which dates back to the 17th century, is continued today by only a few remaining weavers, of which Emblem Weavers is one. The high quality of Irish linen has always been particularly appreciated. Since there is no longer any local cultivation, the raw material used is mainly first-class, long-fibre flax from Belgium or northern France. The fibres are very homogeneous and thus, in addition to an elegant shine, a high tensile strength and durability are achieved.
