Description
The quiet, weather-resistant loden cloth offers outstanding protection against rain and snow while providing natural warmth without restricting movement. Characteristic of Strichloden is the directionally brushed finish, with fibres lying in parallel to create a tile-like, water-shedding surface. Thanks to its thermoregulating properties, this weather cape is a reliable companion in the field from autumn through spring. A special Aquastop treatment enhances its resistance to water and dirt without affecting the wool’s soft, natural handfeel.
The generously cut turn-down collar with a buttoned storm tab protects the neck from wind and weather. The concealed button placket operates in complete silence, while the top leather button prevents any metallic sound when brushed against equipment or rifle. Practical slip pockets, an external zipped pocket and a secure inner pocket provide safe storage for essential hunting accessories.
Particularly well conceived: the adjustable shoulder straps allow the weather cape to be carried comfortably on the back – ideal when the weather changes or during a steep ascent. The side openings can be fastened with buttons to ensure freedom of movement.
