Anyone who works with wood and wood composites, will sooner or later need to glue their workpieces. But how does white glue actually work? Which adhesive can I use, if I’m going to glue different workpieces together? The »Glue and adhesives in the woodworking shop« course is interesting for anyone who wants to work with various adhesives in their own workshop. We explain the terms used such as »open and closed assembly time« and give tips on choosing suitable adhesives for different tasks. To make sure things don’t get too theoretical, we run several glue and adhesive tests and try to dispel some myths about glueing using glue strength tests. A comprehensive manuscript with useful tips and tricks for the workshop completes the »Glue and adhesives in the woodworking shop« course.
