Norbert Klups è in possesso della licenza di caccia dal 1979 e dal 1984 scrive come libero professionista rapporti di prova sui prodotti per varie riviste di caccia e armi nelle categorie pistole, munizioni, coltelli e attrezzature da caccia. Ha scritto anche 12 libri specialistici su varie armi e munizioni da caccia, è consulente distrettuale per la caccia e membro della commissione d'esame per la caccia, nonché istruttore di tiro per i seminari organizzati dall'Accademia dei cacciatori della Renania-Vestfalia RWJ. Ha quindi oltre 40 anni di esperienza pratica di caccia e una vasta competenza in tutti gli aspetti della caccia teorica e pratica e dell'addestramento alle armi da fuoco.
