Herdim Peg Ending Tool

For peg length and peg end adjustment. Works universally with all pegs with diameter up to 8.5 mm.
Material: Aluminum/Stainless SteelThe tool is designed to ease the elaboration and refinement of the peg ending. A standard tapering of the violin pegbox requires each next peg in the row to be 0.75 mm shorter than the previous. The tool is set to the length of the longest peg, the peg inserted inside, cut to length and using the ball end template the ending is elaborated with sanding paper. Each other peg then is cut 0.75 mm shorter, which is appropriate to one full turn of the device (the thread has a 0.75 mm pitch).
