Cremona, the hometown of violin-making. Not only renowned luminaries like Antonio Stradivari created world-famous violins here, many of the best violins of our time also originate from this town. One of these modern masters is Giancarlo Kohler, who pursues the old craft in his workshop, conscious of his tradition. One day a young woman, who has lost her memory, unexpectedly walks into his life. She struggles to learn to speak again and find her way in the world. A passionate love blossoms between him and the stranger, whose virtuoso violin playing enchants the whole of Cremona. But the issue about the stranger’s identity worries Giancarlo. And then a mysterious client requests an exact replica of the famous "Il Cremonese" by Stradivari...
