Looking like a Forstner bit at first sight, this bit is a unique combination of cutting blades that allow it to also be moved backwards and sideways to a limited extent. The drill bit is stabilised by a centring tip and the two main cutting blades. Another major advantage of this drill bit is the long shaft which, combined with the sideways cutting function, allows easy drilling of curved holes, for example for running cables or tubes in drywall constructions.
