Lie-Nielsen Mortise Float

The term »float« for an extra-coarse single-cut file goes back to the 19th century. Formerly developed for making wooden plane bodies, they are now also used for surfaces that are difficult to work on in cabinetmaking. A hardness of 52 HRC allows resharpening by hand.Use:
