Shaving Horse - Versatile and Individually Adjustable
Řezbářská lavice se používá k upínání nepravidelných kulatých nebo zakřivených dřevěných dílů. Na ní se pomocí tažného nože loupe kulatina a vyrábějí se rukojeti nástrojů, jiné dřevěné součásti nebo dokonce střešní šindele. Vyráběná řezbářská lavice zaručuje práci bez únavy a s úsporou energie díky individuálním možnostem nastavení na příslušnou velikost těla. Sklon a výšku opěry a výšku podnoží lze snadno a rychle nastavit pomocí děrovaných nebo ozubených lišt. Hlava tažné lavice má důmyslné dřevěné zuby a lze ji jediným pohybem přizpůsobit tloušťce obrobku. Plynule nastavitelné sedadlo je odnímatelné a umožňuje používat řezbářskou lavici jako pilový kůň.
The bench is made of roughly cut individual parts of maple, beech and cherry wood, using either hand tools or machines. We will focus especially on the ingenious wooden gear teeth, cutting the mechanism exactly with the help of jigs. If there is enough time left, you will learn how to use the shaving horse and different drawknives correctly. Each participant will build their own shaving horse. Dimensions 140 x 55 x 100 cm.
