In their new book, the Rittermann twins have set out in search of home-made benches. Whether in Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin or the Swiss mountains, or along the Baltic coast, the sisters have come across a wide range of different constructions: solidly constructed, built for eternity or created spontaneously from found timber.
The book describes sixty benches with photos, assembly instructions and stories about the place where it was found.
