»Ernest« Men's Loden Field Jacket

The »Ernest« hunting jacket is unlined and thus ideal for the transitional season and cooler summer days. The 350 g/rm (12.33 oz.) light loden fabric comes from the Austrian Leichtfried cloth weaving mill. Leichtfried Loden has been a byword for sustainably manufactured loden fabrics and the finest woollen cloths for more than 130 years. The comfortable cut, reminiscent of a classic safari jacket, makes this hunting jacket practical and classy at the same time. The lightweight loden fabric is robust, yet pleasantly soft to the touch. A back pleat in the middle provides more freedom of movement. The collar is contrasted with corduroy and can be closed high, keeping the neck area protected. The jacket closes with a button placket. The four generous patch flap pockets skilfully underline the jacket's strikingly masculine style and provide ample space for everyday essentials.The functional properties of classic loden fabric are still unrivalled today, despite all the technical innovations in synthetic fibres.
