At up to 40 mm, the saw stroke of the Optimus 360 utilises the entire length of the saw blade - thereby resulting in a longer service life for the saw blades, preventing heat build-up, and allowing for better swarf removal, increased cutting speed, and lower rotational speeds - which means that the materials being worked on are not burnt.
The saw blade of the Harthie can be infinitely rotated 360° on its own axis during operation, and when the locking ring is loosened, it can also be pushed out of the middle. This allows sawing to be performed in all directions without having to turn the workpiece. This makes it easy to work with extremely large workpieces.
One hand under the machine table steers the saw blade, and the other hand guides the workpiece without having to turn it in order to cut curves.
The unique lifting mechanism without oscillating movements reduces vibrations on the workpiece and makes it easier to trace markings when sawing.
The system allows for a lower blade tension, thereby increasing the service life of the saw blades.
