Students make their own table legs from a plank, using a portable circular saw and a table saw as well as a planer/thicknesser to remove the wane, true, plane and cut the plank to size. The mortises are cut with a power router, while the tenons are cut upright with a flush-mounted pull saw (special work step). The table legs are tapered towards the bottom and are sawn at an angle using a special jig on the table saw. Each student will make their own table. Size approx. 500 x 500 x 500 mm.
