Willow Weaving

Each student will weave objects of their choice like lanterns, spirals, light objects, hanging...
The ancient craft of willow weaving, which is practised all over the world, makes wickerwork a living part of our culture and history. Experience the fascinating interaction between archaic materials, meditative movements and modern art with its abundant range of design options and material combinations.
Each student will weave objects of their choice like lanterns, spirals, light objects, hanging baskets, spheres, rattles, plant supports, wind chimes or accessories. Let your imagination run wild and try different weaving techniques like the spiral technique. Weaving material (assorted and soaked) will be provided.
