Wetshaving with a Straight Razor - Afternoon Course

Klassiker
As early as the Bronze Age, middle European men occasionally shaved, using a straight razor. The ancient Romans principally shaved before going to war. And modern man does it every morning, and with increasing enthusiasm for returning to the straight razor. After years of electric shaving it does require some practice to handle the sharp blade. The according know-how and a suitable and properly sharpened knife will however turn daily beard removal into an indispensable ritual.
Practice in handling the straight razor, the perfect shave with the blade, sharpening of the straight razor with Japanese waterstones, stropping it on the leather, caring for your straight razor, and background information about wetshaving.
