Arbortech Contour Random Sander, Set

Ideal for sanding concave curves and complex free-form contours. The flexible Ø 50 mm sanding pad moulds perfectly to the shape of the timber and produces fast results even on the tightest curves. Scorch marks or cuts in the wood, as caused by the edges of hard sanding discs, are a thing of the past. Able to rotate freely, the sanding pad is attached to the dynamically balanced shaft and is offset from the centre axis, so that it is driven in a random orbital manner with a vibratory and rotary movement. This random orbital sanding motion ensures efficient stock removal with a high surface quality. After machining with the Arbortech Mini-Turbo, TurboPlane or the Arbortech blades, the patented contour random sander is the perfect complement. The self-adhesive abrasives are easily attached or peeled off the rubber pad. The Contour Random Sander attaches to any standard angle grinder with M14 spindle (100-125 mm disc diameter).
