Kunz^® is the traditional brand under which Tresselt GmbH Maschinenfabrik und Metallverarbeitung has been producing and selling high-quality planes since 1992. In 2008, the product line was expanded under the Kunz^®plus brand. State-of-the-art technology, motivated, highly qualified employees and investment in research and development ensure that products of high quality and innovative details find their way from the company to the customer.

Kunz^® is known for its solid planes of wear-resistant grey cast iron with fine-ground soles and good value for money. The standard tool-steel blades are hardened to approx. 62 HRC. For planing extremely hard woods, durable HSS blades (approx. 65 HRC) are available as accessories. Their green surfaces make the Kunz planes, made in Germany, unique.
