Gambling Table Assembly Kit

Playing backgammon or chess is double fun on a table you have built yourself.
This assembly kit consisting of 28 parts contains all necessary parts made of tailor-made maple tree. The finished table may also be used as a side table. Using the most important hand tools and small power tools you will be able to perform timber joints and working techniques on your own.
The table frame in gallery construction is assembled using dovetail joints and dowels. Drawer construction with grooved corner pieces, joined by wood nails and a grooved drawer bottom. The drawer has slides to prevent tipping out and to ensure that the drawer slides in and out smoothly. Chess pieces can be made of oddments. Includes field, glass plate and illustrated assembly instruction.Required small parts and accessories: dowels, wood nails, glue, sandpaper, oil or wax.
Required hand tools: saw, hammer, chisel, marking gauge, square, measuring rod, brace and bits, clamps (min. 600 mm).
Useful small power tools, but not absolutely necessary: bench saw, cordless combi drill, dowel cutter, random orbit sander or orbital sander.
